Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups (Printable Version)

Flaky crescent rolls filled with melted cheeses and garlic butter. Golden, warm, and irresistibly cheesy.

# What You Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Filling

02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

→ Garlic Butter

05 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
08 - 1/4 tsp salt

# How To Make It:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
03 - In a small bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
04 - Place about 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up from the wide end to the tip, encasing the cheese filling.
05 - Arrange rollups on the prepared baking sheet with the tip tucked under.
06 - In a bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
07 - Brush each rollup generously with the garlic butter mixture.
08 - Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
09 - Brush with extra garlic butter if desired and serve warm.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • The dough becomes impossibly tender while the cheese gets molten and stretchy in the best way
  • Ready in about half an hour but tastes like something from a bakery
02 -
  • Cold dough tears easily so let it sit on the counter while you preheat the oven and mix the filling
  • The parchment paper is nonnegotiable because the cheese will escape and stick to bare metal
03 -
  • Use your fingers to press the cheese into the dough slightly so it does not all slide out while rolling
  • Double the garlic butter recipe because you will want extra for brushing right before serving
